Job Title: HRO Payroll Assistant Manager
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 8–10 Years

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HRO Payroll Assistant Manager to manage and support global payroll operations across multiple geographies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in international payroll processing, compliance, vendor management, payroll audits, and employee query resolution while ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across multiple countries.
Calculate wages, commissions, bonuses, deductions, and tax withholdings accurately.
Maintain and update employee payroll data in payroll systems and databases.
Ensure compliance with international payroll regulations, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate with third-party payroll vendors to ensure SLA adherence and implementation of legislative updates.
Validate payroll results through audits, reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution.
Generate payroll reports, payroll registers, and employee pay slips.
Handle employee payroll-related inquiries and provide timely resolutions.
Support year-end payroll activities, statutory filings, and payroll closures.
Assist internal and external audit processes related to payroll operations.
Maintain strict confidentiality of employee payroll and personal data.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have Skills

Multi-geography payroll setup and management.
International payroll processing experience.
Strong understanding of payroll calculations, deductions, taxes, and statutory compliance.
Experience working with third-party payroll vendors.
Payroll reporting, audits, and reconciliation expertise.
Strong data management and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of international tax laws, payroll practices, and employment regulations across multiple regions.
Proficiency in payroll software and HR systems.
Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential employee data.

Eligibility Criteria

8–10 years of payroll operations experience with exposure to global payroll environments.
Candidates with experience in international payroll and regulatory compliance will be preferred.
Ex-TCS employees are not eligible to apply.
PAN and Date of Birth (DOB) are mandatory for profile creation.
