Indirect Sourcing Specialist

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Indirect Sourcing Specialist to support sourcing and procurement activities across assigned indirect categories. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of tactical sourcing, supplier coordination, commercial analysis, contract administration, and procurement compliance.

The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, suppliers, procurement operations, and finance teams to ensure efficient sourcing, accurate documentation, and adherence to procurement policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute sourcing events for assigned indirect categories, including supplier communication, bid tabulation, and commercial evaluation.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, service scope, timelines, and budget expectations.

• Support negotiations, contract administration, and supplier onboarding in accordance with procurement guidelines.

• Maintain sourcing documentation, commercial records, supplier master inputs, and approval trails.

• Monitor supplier performance, contract milestones, renewal timelines, and issue resolution.

• Analyze spend and supplier data to identify savings opportunities and support category insights.

• Coordinate with procurement operations and finance teams to resolve purchase order, invoice, and service acceptance issues.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, procurement policies, governance requirements, and audit standards.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives involving sourcing workflows, templates, and reporting.

• Maintain effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in indirect procurement, sourcing operations, purchasing, or category support.

• Strong understanding of tactical sourcing and supplier coordination.

• Knowledge of commercial evaluation, bid analysis, and contract administration.

• Ability to maintain accurate procurement documentation and approval records.

• Experience in spend analysis, supplier reporting, and procurement data management.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Understanding of procurement policies, internal controls, and audit compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
