Title/position name - Production & QC

Job Location - Long Thanh, Dong Nai Vietnam

Department - T&O

Reporting To - Logistics Head

Salary - 88,565,041 VND (Annually)

Key responsibilities

Remember that responsibilities can be e.g. managerial, budget and/ or project responsibilities; combined with responsibilities in terms of coordination, development or actual execution

1. Carry out daily QC tests on in process, finished product

2. Carry out incoming Raw Material testing

3. Accurate and timely recording of QC test data

4. Support Manager and Chemist on testing of retained samples for complaints

5. Planning, organising and supervising day to day production activities related to Pre-Assembly/Batch Loading/Grinding/Colour Matching & Filling

6. Focus on throughput & production efficiency by ensuring less production downtime & process losses

7. Effectively playing a lead role and be fully responsible in leading the production team by devising clear work schedules and giving timely and accurate information to ensure batches meet the planned output dates

8. Ensuring batches are produced in strict adherence to process instructions

Key tasks

Make a short description of each task, try to  estimate the percentage of each task

1. Perform QC tests on production batches accurately and make recommendations for dilution and repairs – 80%

2. Perform testing of incoming raw materials and retained samples for complaint batches – 10%

3. Accurate and timely recording of QC test data – 5%

4. Good housekeeping and maintenance of lab equipment – 5%

5. Conduction  of activities related to day-to-day production. 

6. Lead the staff with regards to their KPI, 5S, Quality, Safety & Discipline

7. Work as a team closely with Planning, QC, Maintenance, WH & HSE team

8. To initiate & support improvement action implementation and execution via structured methodology such as LEAN or KAIZEN, CI 

9. Focus & follow-up closely on urgent item production to ensure its delivery schedule are met

10. Ensuring Raw Material issued are checked by downline on quality & quantity before charging into the batch as per its instruction without any deviation

11. Ensure every batch briefing are carried out to the operator processing the batch at all section 

12. Ensuring bulk Raw Material dispensing are accurate & downline understand how to operate it

13. Maintain stock accuracy and support stock count half yearly, cycle count monthly & daily

14. Ensure cleaning solvent withdrawal check sheet & R-Solvent movement check sheet are maintained up to date and submit weekly report

15. Ensure good resources planning & utilization

16. Ensure sub-standard batch are accounted and stored with proper labelling & reworked carried out as per QC recommendation

17. Study the yield loss and identify corrective action and executes its improvement action

18. Maintain high standard of Safety & 5S in production, schedule waste, pallet storage & surrounding area all the time

19. Active involvement in monthly quality review meeting that is chair by HSE, 

20. Active involvement in ISO certificate process.

Required education, experience and job-related skills

Formal education as well as industry, professional, product or functional experience

Relevant certifications, IT knowledge or linguistic competencies

Diploma (fresh or minimum 1 year experience in laboratory work OR SPM (or equivalent) with minimum 3 years’ experience in laboratory work

Read and write English

Computer literacy
