Payroll Specialist – ANZ Geo

Location: Kolkata, India | Work Setup: Onsite, 24x7 / ANZ Shift

Job Type: Full-time | Band: BPO 1/2 Experience: 1–4 Years

Salary: 6–7 LPA


Role Summary

Process end-to-end ANZ payroll with accuracy and compliance. Own Gross-to-Net calculations, arrears, retro, tax adjustments, timesheets, statutory leaves, and post-payroll reconciliations using Oracle HCM. Act as SPOC for onshore clients and ensure SLA adherence.


Key Responsibilities

- Payroll Processing: Process employee payroll as per pay elements, frequency, and calendars. Manually calculate Gross-to-Net, Arrears, Retro Pay, Tax balance adjustments, Overpayments, LOA/SCI/Al-Encashment/LSL

- ANZ Compliance: Apply ANZ payroll legislation & pay elements. Alter employee tax status and withholding as needed. Handle timesheet processing, OT, and statutory leaves

- Systems: Work on Oracle HCM, Workday, MYOB. Support Hire-to-Retire transactions: EDM, HR Admin, Lodgments, Accounting

- Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform post-payroll recon, audit, and GL balancing. Support Quarter-End/Year-End tax processing and lodgments

- Issue Management: Prepare manual checks for ad-hoc payouts on interface failures. Maintain compliant payroll policies and procedures

- Client Interaction: Direct/telephonic communication with onshore clients. Provide training sessions and deliver under pressure[Mandatory]


Required Skills & Experience

- Experience: 1–4 years in ANZ Geo Payroll. HRO experience required

- Technical Skills: Strong Oracle HCM, Workday knowledge. MS Office basics

- Payroll Expertise: Manual calculation ability, ANZ payroll rules, Overpayment audits, Tax processing

- Competencies: Deadline driven, Strong written & verbal English, Problem-solving, Multi-tasking, Confidentiality, Organization skills[Mandatory]


Working Conditions

24x7 shift flexibility required. Occasional extended hours to meet deadlines. Onsite only.


Education & Certification

Bachelor’s/Master’s in any discipline. Basic computer proficiency.
