Role/Skill: PMO Coordinator/Business Operations Specialist

Location: Mumbai

**Job Summary:**

The PMO Coordinator / Business Operations Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the development, integration, and execution of programs, plans, and strategies to meet business goals related to various HR Operations functional statement of work deployment. This role requires a proactive, self-starting individual with strong judgment and analytical skills who

collaborates effectively with business partners and leadership to validate analyses, manage risks, and ensure alignment with long-term business objectives. At the L4 level, the role expands to include providing implementation direction and coaching less experienced personnel.


**Key Responsibilities:**

• Assist in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies, and processes to meet business goals for work authorization, including sourcing strategies, cost imperatives, deployment analysis, and impact mitigation.

• Collaborate with business partners to clarify analyses, validate results, and determine scope to support long-range business planning and business case development.

• Coordinate commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill strategies, taking a lead role in ensuring alignment and execution.

• Identify risks and opportunities proactively, develop mitigation plans, and refine business cases to support decision-making and leadership approval.

• Gather and organize data to track program status and stakeholder commitments. Assist in establishing regular review routines and advise on improving management system processes as needed.

• Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of issues to maintain program integrity and alignment with business objectives.

• Provide implementation direction for work authorization activities, ensuring smooth execution of plans.

• Engage regularly with leadership to present analyses, gain approvals, and provide status updates.

• Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to less experienced personnel, fostering team development and knowledge sharing.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program effectiveness and operational efficiency.


**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

• Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment in a dynamic business environment.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.

• Experience in program coordination, business operations, or project management support.

• Ability to identify risks and opportunities and develop effective mitigation strategies.

• Familiarity with sourcing strategies, cost management, and deployment analysis is advantageous.

• Proficient in data collection, organization, and reporting within structured management systems.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching and mentoring less experienced team members.

**Certifications (preferred or beneficial):**

• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

• Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or Scrum Master certification

• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt
