Role Overview

TCS is looking for an experienced Procurement & Vendor Master Lead to manage transactional procurement and vendor master operations. The role involves purchase requisition validation, purchase order processing, vendor coordination, stakeholder management, reporting, and ensuring SLA-driven procurement operations while maintaining data quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate purchase requisitions and convert approved requests into Purchase Orders (POs).

• Manage end-to-end Purchase Order processing, confirmations, amendments, and expediting.

• Validate approvals, supporting documents, and checklists before PO dispatch.

• Coordinate with buyers, requesters, suppliers, and stakeholders.

• Resolve procurement and vendor-related queries.

• Monitor procurement reports and transaction status.

• Identify, investigate, and resolve processing exceptions.

• Escalate operational issues where required.

• Ensure SLA, TAT, quality, and accuracy targets are consistently achieved.

• Maintain procurement documentation and process compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in Procurement and Vendor Master Operations.

• Experience in Transactional Procurement and Vendor Management.

• Strong Purchase Order (PO) Processing knowledge.

• Working knowledge of SAP ERP.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.

• Proficiency in MS Office.

• Team management experience.
