Role: PTP MDM Team Lead

Location: Kolkata
Experience: 8 to 12 Years
Band: BPO 4
Salary: Up to 12 LPA

Education:

Minimum 15 years of regular full-time education (10+2+3)
B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or Bachelor's/Master's in Finance & Accounting
ERP certification or strong working knowledge of SAP/JD Edwards preferred

Must-Have Skills:

8–12 years of Procure-to-Pay (P2P/PTP) experience
Minimum 5 years of experience as a PTP Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Strong Vendor Master Data (MDM) management experience
Hands-on experience with SAP or JD Edwards (JDE)
Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, IF, COUNTIFS, etc.)
Lean Six Sigma certified or formally trained (Black Belt preferred)
Strong stakeholder management and reporting experience

Good-to-Have Skills:

Continuous Improvement / Lean Six Sigma
Vendor Master Data Governance
ERP Enhancements & Transformation Projects
Process Automation & Internal Controls

Job Responsibilities:

Own and manage Vendor Master Data (MDM) processes, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
Create, modify, and deactivate vendor master records while maintaining data quality standards.
Support Accounts Payable, Procurement, Tax, Treasury, and Business stakeholders.
Act as the escalation point for complex Vendor Master issues.
Drive process improvement, automation, and ERP transformation initiatives.
Support audits, internal controls, and risk management activities.
Lead ERP enhancements, testing, and system improvement projects.
Mentor team members, share knowledge, and ensure timely delivery of operational goals.

Technical Skills:

Expert knowledge of SAP or JD Edwards (JDE)
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong understanding of Vendor Master Data, P2P processes, reporting, and compliance

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience in project management and change management.
Positive attitude with strong ownership and leadership skills.
Willing to work from the office 5 days a week, including one weekend during Month-End Close.
