Job Title: PTP MDM Team Lead

Experience: 8 to 12 years

Salary: 11-12 LPA

Work Setup: Onsite - 5 days work from office. Month-end close includes 1 weekend

Role Purpose:

This role is responsible for executing complex processes that involve greater subjective thinking and processing a high volume of transactions. The candidate should have 8-12 years of experience in P2P and at least 5+ years as Subject Matter Expert in similar processes. Requires good communication, organizational, interpersonal skills, and proficiency in MS Excel. Expert level knowledge of ERP preferably SAP or JDE is needed, along with experience in reporting and compliance. Must be capable of handling stringent timelines and stakeholder interactions.

Key Accountabilities:

- Own and maintain Vendor Master Data processes and standards

- Ensure accurate vendor creation, modification, and deactivation

- Manage data governance, quality, and compliance requirements

- Act as the escalation point for complex vendor master issues

- Support Accounts Payable, Procurement, Tax, Treasury, and Business stakeholders

- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives

- Support audits, risk management, and internal controls

- Lead ERP system enhancements, testing, and transformation projects

- Deep functional knowledge of PTP processes

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Stakeholder management and process improvement mindset

- Project and change management experience

- Team coaching and knowledge-sharing capabilities

Education:

- Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10 + 2 + 3)

- Non-technical graduation and/or masters in finance and accounts stream - http://B.Com, http://M.Com or CA Inter

- Bachelor's/Master's in Finance and Accounting or equivalent with ERP certification / proficiency

Must Have Skills:

- Lean Six Sigma certified or formally trained (Black Belt preferred)

- Finance and Accounting domain experience

- Proven track record of leading and/or mentoring multiple Lean Six Sigma improvement projects

Good-to-Have Skills:

- Continuous Improvement / Lean and Six Sigma

- Stakeholders Coordination

- ERP Exposure (JDE/SAP)

Technical Capabilities:

Systems:

- Expert knowledge of SAP or JD Edwards

- Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Expert level Excel skills: IF, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, PIVOT, CELL REFERENCE, AVERAGE, AGEING, DATE FORMAT, TEXT to TABLE

Soft Skills:

- Shows genuine empathy to customers experiencing issues

- Able to communicate effectively across diverse backgrounds

- High energy, self-motivation with high accountability

Analytical Skills:

- Eye for detail, data oriented with logical problem solving approach

Organizational Skills:

- Time management

- Documentation and knowledge sharing

- High level written communication skills to interact with key stakeholders

Business Acumen:

8-12 years of experience in Procure to Pay and 5+ years as SME with ERP knowledge, reporting, compliance, and stakeholder management

Other Requirements:

- Should possess positive attitude to support the business

- PAN and DOB required for profile creation
