Role: RTR SME

Location: Kolkata
Experience: 5 to 8 Years
Band: BPO 3
Salary: Up to 9 LPA

Education:

Minimum 15 years of regular full-time education (10+2+3)
B.Com, M.Com, CA (Preferred) or Bachelor's/Master's in Finance & Accounting
ERP certification or strong working knowledge of SAP/JD Edwards is preferred

Must-Have Skills:

5–8 years of Record to Report (RTR) experience
Minimum 3 years of experience as an RTR Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Strong knowledge of Journal Entries, Month-End Close, Reconciliations, Fixed Assets & Lease Accounting
Hands-on experience with SAP or JD Edwards (JDE)
Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, IF, COUNTIFS, etc.)
Lean Six Sigma certified or trained (Black Belt preferred)

Job Responsibilities:

Perform complex RTR activities including Journal Entries, Month-End Close, Reporting, Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
Review work, ensure quality, prepare reports and dashboards, and coordinate with stakeholders.
Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor team members and ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal controls.

Preferred Profile:

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work under strict timelines and month-end pressure.
Willing to work from the office 5 days a week, including one weekend during Month-End Close.
