Job Description – RTR GL Manager

Role: RTR GL Manager
Location: Chennai
Experience: 10–15 Years
Shift: 12:30 PM – 3:30 AM

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced RTR GL Manager with strong expertise in Finance & Accounting and end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) activities. The candidate will be responsible for managing GL operations, coordinating with stakeholders, handling client escalations, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Education

Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3)
MBA / M.Com / B.Com / BBA in Finance & Accounting preferred

Must-Have Skills

10+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting
Strong knowledge of end-to-end R2R / RTR activities
General Ledger (GL) expertise
Experience handling client escalations
Stakeholder coordination with upstream and downstream teams
ERP exposure, preferably Oracle
Strong communication and customer management skills

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee end-to-end RTR / R2R and General Ledger activities
Coordinate with upstream and downstream teams to ensure smooth operations
Handle client escalations and provide timely resolutions
Ensure accuracy and timely completion of assigned activities
Support day-to-day operations and stakeholder requirements
Work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve operational issues
Monitor processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Support reporting, tracking, and operational reviews
Maintain effective vendor and stakeholder relationships
Track budget-related expenses where required
Ensure attention to detail and adherence to process requirements
Work independently and demonstrate strong ownership
Maintain accurate records and perform data entry activities as required
