RTR – Lead
Location: Chennai
Experience: 5–8 Years
Band: BPO 3
Salary: Up to ₹9 LPA
Process: FAO – Record to Report (R2R)
Work Mode: 100% Work from Office
Shift: Night & Rotational Shifts
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced RTR Lead with strong expertise in Finance & Accounting, General Ledger (GL), month-end close, balance sheet analysis, and complex accounting. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing close activities, resolving open items, supporting reporting, driving process improvements, and interacting with the client/retained team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and review R2R/General Ledger activities and month-end close processes.
Perform balance sheet analysis and reconciliation and resolve open items.
Review and handle complex journal entries, including revenue recognition.
Prepare and review reports, dashboards, and daily operational updates.
Participate in month-end close meetings with the retained/client team.
Support governance calls and maintain effective client relationships.
Ensure adherence to SLAs, quality standards, and process controls.
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
Train and support team members on accounting processes and best practices.
Track budget-related expenses and maintain accurate financial records.
Maintain healthy vendor and stakeholder relationships.
Ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and timely completion of deliverables.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting, preferably in R2R/GL.
Strong knowledge of Core Accounting, General Ledger, Balance Sheet, and Month-End Close.
Experience in complex accounting and journal entries.
Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.
Experience with Revenue Recognition is preferred.
Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP or similar ERP systems is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Good communication and client-management skills.
Experience in reporting, dashboards, and process improvement.
Good knowledge of MS Office/Excel and reporting tools.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.

Important Information
100% Work from Office – Chennai
