Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Concur Finance Consultant with strong functional expertise in SAP Concur Expense, Travel, and Corporate Card management. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of finance and accounting processes, ERP applications, and end-to-end business flows, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R).

The candidate will work closely with business users, finance teams, and shared services stakeholders to understand business requirements, configure functional solutions, troubleshoot system issues, and support SAP Concur implementations, integrations, enhancements, and global rollouts.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP Concur modules, including Expense, Travel, and Corporate Card management.

• Understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system configurations.

• Manage end-to-end travel and expense management processes, including expense claims, reimbursements, corporate card transactions, and policy compliance.

• Support SAP Concur integration with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and other ERP systems.

• Collaborate with finance teams, business users, IT teams, and shared services stakeholders to resolve functional and technical issues.

• Prepare functional specifications for system enhancements, integrations, and process improvements.

• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement appropriate solutions.

• Ensure accurate financial postings, accounting treatment, cost object mapping, and compliance with applicable VAT/GST requirements.

• Support SAP Concur implementations, global rollouts, testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities.

• Conduct functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of system changes.

• Maintain process documentation, configuration records, and functional support materials.

• Identify opportunities to improve finance operations, automate workflows, and strengthen internal controls.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of overall relevant experience, with at least 5 years of hands-on SAP Concur functional experience.

• Strong knowledge of SAP Concur Expense, Travel, and Corporate Card modules.

• Experience with SAP Concur Travel and Invoice modules is preferred.

• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles and ERP applications.

• Knowledge of P2P, O2C, and R2R business processes.

• Experience integrating SAP Concur with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or other ERP platforms.

• Understanding of general ledger postings, cost objects, VAT/GST, and financial compliance controls.

• Ability to prepare functional specifications and support system configuration and enhancements.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.

• Experience supporting global implementations, rollouts, and project delivery.

Good-to-Have Skills

• CA, Cost Accountant, or an equivalent qualification in Finance and Accounting.

• SAP Concur certifications or relevant ERP certifications.

• Prior consulting experience or experience working directly with clients.

• Strong project coordination and delivery management skills.

• Understanding of interactions between finance and other ERP modules.

• Ability to troubleshoot cross-module issues beyond the primary area of expertise.

Educational Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10 + 2 + 3).

• B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or an equivalent qualification in Finance and Accounting.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance and Accounting, preferably supported by ERP certification or demonstrated ERP proficiency.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a finance professional with strong SAP Concur functional expertise, hands-on experience in travel and expense management, knowledge of ERP integrations, and the ability to work with global stakeholders. Candidates with consulting experience, implementation exposure, and strong finance process knowledge will be preferred.
