Job Description – Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst
Location: Noida
Experience: 5–15 Years
Salary: Up to ₹17 LPA
Band: BPO 4/5
Work Mode: As per business requirements
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst to lead and oversee regulatory reporting activities within a controlled and regulated financial services environment.
The role will be responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy, governance, and timely delivery of regulatory reporting outputs across Capital, Liquidity, IFRS 9, Credit Risk, and related regulatory reporting processes.
The role will involve reviewing and challenging reporting outputs, managing controls and reconciliations, resolving complex reporting issues, supporting regulatory submissions, and coordinating with offshore and onshore stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Reporting & Review
Manage and review regulatory reporting outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Execute daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting processes within defined timelines.
Prepare and review reconciliations, controls, adjustments, and analytical reporting outputs.
Manage manual adjustments with appropriate approvals, documentation, and audit trails.
Prepare management packs, variance analysis, and commentary for senior stakeholders.
Controls, Governance & Compliance
Review and challenge data quality, reporting assumptions, methodologies, and calculations.
Investigate complex reporting issues, anomalies, reconciliation breaks, and control deficiencies.
Manage governance and sign-off processes with appropriate supporting evidence.
Ensure compliance with PRA requirements, regulatory reporting standards, governance frameworks, and submission timelines.
Support regulatory queries, internal audits, control reviews, and ad-hoc information requests.
Capital Reporting
Review and challenge COREP returns, including:
Own Funds
Risk Weighted Assets (RWA)
CET1
Tier 1
Total Capital
Review capital reconciliations and consolidation adjustments.
Provide oversight of capital adequacy, ICAAP, and Economic Capital reporting.
Ensure capital reporting aligns with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Liquidity Reporting
Support production, review, and submission of liquidity regulatory returns.
Work on PRA/ECB liquidity reporting, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly cycles.
Support end-to-end liquidity reporting, including data collection from Treasury, Risk, Finance, and source systems.
Work with PRA110, LCR, NSFR, and ALM reporting.
Review liquidity metrics, regulatory adjustments, and assumptions.
IFRS 9 / Risk Reporting
Support end-to-end IFRS 9 model execution and monitoring.
Support Finance and Risk reporting activities.
Perform data aggregation, validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
Exposure to Credit Risk and Market Risk reporting will be an advantage.
Change & Process Improvement
Assess the impact of regulatory, process, and system changes.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Strengthen reporting controls, efficiency, accuracy, and operational resilience.
Team Management & Oversight
Provide day-to-day supervision and task allocation to junior team members.
Provide technical guidance, training, and review support.
Ensure reporting activities are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
Must-Have Skills
Strong knowledge of Capital Adequacy, including:
Tier 1
CET1
RWA
Capital Ratios
Strong knowledge of Liquidity Ratios, including:
LCR
NSFR
Experience in capital adequacy analysis.
Knowledge of regulatory submission formats and timelines.
Strong experience in data aggregation, validation, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting.
Experience working in a regulated financial services/banking environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with reporting controls, governance, and regulatory compliance.
Good-to-Have Skills
CCAR / Capital Planning / Stress Testing
Scenario modelling and what-if analysis.
Power BI / Tableau for regulatory dashboards.
SQL / Python for data extraction and modelling.
Experience with IFRS 9.
Exposure to Credit Risk / Market Risk reporting.
Knowledge of PRA / ECB / Bank of England regulatory reporting.
Education & Certifications
Education:
Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3).
Qualified Accountant such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent relevant experience.
Degree in a quantitative subject such as Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, or Finance is beneficial.
MBA Finance / CFA is an advantage.
Preferred Certifications:
FRM (Financial Risk Manager)
IFRS 9 certification/training
Candidate Profile
5–15 years of relevant experience in regulatory reporting, financial reporting, risk reporting, capital/liquidity reporting, or banking operations.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to work under stringent reporting deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
Experience handling senior stakeholders, audits, regulatory queries, and escalations.
Ability to manage multiple reporting cycles and competing priorities.
Other Requirements

Candidates should be comfortable working in a regulated financial-services environment and handling stringent regulatory reporting timelines.
