Are you an experienced People Manager with expertise in US Life Insurance operations? We are looking for a dynamic Team Leader to join our team in Mumbai to drive operational excellence and lead a high-performing blended operations unit!
Job Overview
Role/Skill: Team Leader – US Life Insurance Agency Management
Location: Mumbai
Band: BPO 3/4
Salary Package: ₹9,000,000 – ₹1,100,000 PA (9 - 11 LPA)
Shift: Rotational / 24x7 (Primarily US Night Shifts with rotational week-offs)
Work Type: Blended (Voice, Chat, Email, and Back Office Functions)
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership: Lead, monitor, and mentor a team of BPO agents; conduct regular internal performance reviews.
Operations & Workload Management: Manage day-to-day workload distribution, manage team volume, and resolve escalations.
Client Engagement: Interact effectively with US client stakeholders and handle cross-functional operations.
Process Excellence: Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and project management tasks under tight deadlines.
Hands-on Execution: Spend a few hours a week directly taking calls/chats to stay updated with current operational models and assist during peak volume.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
Must-Haves:
Experience: 6 to 8 years overall in insurance contact centers/blended operations, with at least 2 years in a direct People Management (Team Lead) role.
Domain Knowledge: >2 years of experience in US Life Insurance Agency Management / Servicing (highly preferred).
Communication & Typing: Fluent verbal and written English skills + typing speed of 40–60 WPM.
Flexibility: Open to working in a blended environment (Voice, Chat, Back Office) and flexible with 24x7 / US Night Shifts.
Problem-Solving & Project Skills: Strong analytical ability with a track record of driving teams toward ambitious goals.
Important Eligibility Criteria
Mandatory Documents: PAN Card and Date of Birth (DOB) are required upfront for profile creation in the system.
