Job Title: Business Analyst – Banking / Financial Services

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with 3–6 years of experience, preferably within banking, financial services, or investment banking. The candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements, document business processes, and support solution delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements.
Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).
Develop user stories, use cases, and process maps.
Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
Support projects through the SDLC using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Facilitate communication between business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders.
Track requirements, issues, and project documentation using appropriate tools.
Support project activities, testing, documentation, and implementation as required.
Ensure requirements and project documentation are accurate, complete, and aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within banking, financial services, or investment banking.
Strong requirement-gathering and documentation skills.
Experience preparing BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, and process mapping.
Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Waterfall delivery methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project-management/documentation tools is an advantage.
