Production Machine Operator

Location: Balakong, Selangor
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Shift Requirement: Must be willing to work morning and night shifts

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machines, including extruders, vacuum tanks, haul-off units, cutters, and printing machines.

• Monitor and adjust machine settings such as speed, temperature, and pressure to ensure efficient production.

• Feed raw materials into the extrusion machines.

• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure products meet quality specifications, including dimensions, colour, markings, and length.

• Pack finished products according to production requirements.

• Troubleshoot minor machine issues during production.

• Complete hourly production and quality checklists.

• Record approved and defective products accurately.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Perform other production-related duties as assigned by the Production Leader or Technical Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience operating production machinery is preferred.

• Knowledge of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and measuring gauges is an advantage.

• Basic understanding of manufacturing and production processes.

• Able to follow health and safety regulations and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Basic reading, counting, and record-keeping skills.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

• Willing to work rotating shifts.

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
