Job Title : Software Developer (Full Stack) – Java & Angular

Job Description

We are hiring a Software Developer (Full Stack) – Java & Angular to join our engineering team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have 2.5–4 years of hands-on software development experience, with strong practical expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, REST APIs, SQL, and enterprise application development.

The role involves developing scalable backend services and responsive frontend applications, integrating REST APIs, implementing business logic, troubleshooting application issues, writing unit tests, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with QA, Business Analysts, Architects, and development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and TypeScript.
Develop backend services and RESTful APIs, implement business logic, and work with relational databases and SQL.
Build responsive and reusable Angular interfaces and integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party services.
Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, write unit tests, and support application deployment and production issues.
Collaborate with QA, Business Analysts, Architects, and development teams while participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, and technical documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
2.5–4 years of professional software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, Object-Oriented Programming, RESTful APIs, exception handling, logging, and application security.
Strong practical Angular experience including components, forms, routing, services, and state management.
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, REST API consumption, debugging, unit testing, and software development lifecycle practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
Good communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced Agile engineering environment.
Exposure to microservices, Docker, CI/CD, AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Kafka/RabbitMQ, or automated testing is an advantage.

Important Notes

Full-time Software Developer opportunity based in Malaysia.
Strong practical Java, Spring Boot, and Angular experience is required.
Experience with enterprise, banking, financial services, or regulated applications is an advantage.
