Location: Kuala Lumpur
Salary Range : RM 4000 - RM 6000
Education
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related disciplines.
Experience
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience in SSRS report development.
• Experience supporting production reporting environments.
• Banking or financial services experience is an advantage.
Technical Skills
MSSQL Scripting (T-SQL), Stored Procedures, SSIS, SQL Server Agent, PowerShell,
SSH / SFTP File Transfer, PGP/GPG Encryption & Decryption, MSSQL Administration, Python Scripting
Technical Competencies
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) – Intermediate (Primary Skill)
• Report development and maintenance.
• Paginated reports.
• Parameterised reports.
• Subscriptions and scheduling.
• Dataset and data source management.
• Report performance optimisation.
• Troubleshooting reporting issues.
• User requirement analysis and report design.
Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) – Intermediate

SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) – Intermediate

• Power BI.

Ideal Candidate Profile
A reporting-focused Data Engineer with strong SSRS development experience,
solid MSSQL and SSIS skills, and practical exposure to system integration,
PowerShell automation, SFTP file transfers, and PGP/GPG encryption, capable
of supporting both project delivery and production operations in a banking or
enterprise environment.
