Healthcare Interpretation Support (Work From Home)
We are hiring Interpretation Support Associates fluent in Cantonese and English for a healthcare interpretation project. This is a live over-the-phone interpretation role where you will provide accurate, real-time consecutive interpretation between healthcare professionals and patients in the US. You will ensure clear communication while maintaining confidentiality, neutrality, and professionalism during medical and other support-related conversations.
Job Details
*Role: Associate – Interpretation Support
*Language: Cantonese & English
*Experience: 0–5 years (Freshers can apply)
*Industry: Healthcare / Interpretation / BPO / Customer Support
*Work Setup: 100% Work From Home
*Working Days: Monday–Friday
*Off Days: Saturday & Sunday
*Shift: Permanent Night Shift (9:00 PM–6:00 AM or 10:00 PM–7:00 AM)
*Contract: 6 months + 12 months renewable
Key Responsibilities
*Provide accurate, real-time consecutive interpretation between Cantonese- and English-speaking individuals.
*Interpret healthcare conversations involving doctors, medical staff, patients, insurance, and other support services.
*Maintain meaning-for-meaning interpretation without adding or omitting information.
*Follow first-person interpretation standards while remaining neutral and professional.
*Handle sensitive or emergency calls calmly.
*Comply with confidentiality, privacy, and interpreter ethics.
*Attend training, coaching, and quality review sessions.
*Meet attendance, schedule, and performance expectations while working remotely.
Requirements
*High School/SPM, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree.
*Fluent in Cantonese and English with excellent speaking, listening, reading, and comprehension skills.
*Comfortable working permanent night shifts from home with a stable internet connection.
*Strong communication, listening, memory retention, and attention to detail.
*Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
*Candidates with experience in interpretation, translation, healthcare, customer service, contact centers, BPO, media, or journalism are preferred, but fresh graduates with excellent language skills are encouraged to apply.
Salary & Benefits
Basic Salary: RM4,000–RM4,500
Up to RM5,000 based on experience
Wi-Fi Allowance: RM150/month
Night Shift Allowance: RM25/night
Performance Incentives
Total monthly earnings can exceed RM5,000
