What You'll Do

As a Production Machine Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth production operations while maintaining product quality and workplace safety.

Your responsibilities include:

• Set up and operate production machines, including:

  • Extruders

  • Vacuum Tanks

  • Haul-Off Machines

  • Cutters

  • Printing Machines

• Monitor and adjust machine settings such as speed, temperature, and pressure to ensure efficient production.

• Feed raw materials into extrusion machines according to production requirements.

• Perform in-process quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications, including:

  • Outside Diameter (OD)

  • Wall Thickness

  • Product Markings

  • Length

  • Colour

• Count, pack, and prepare finished products for storage or shipment.

• Identify and resolve basic machine or production issues during your shift.

• Complete hourly production and quality checklists accurately.

• Record approved and rejected products while maintaining accurate production documentation.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.

• Follow all workplace safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Perform additional duties assigned by the Production Leader or Technical Manager.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.

• 1–3 years of experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment.

• Good understanding of production processes and machine operations.

• Ability to read, count, and follow production instructions accurately.

• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Willing to work rotating morning and night shifts when required.

• Committed to maintaining quality, productivity, and workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating extrusion or similar production machinery.

• Ability to use measuring instruments such as:

  • Calipers

  • Micrometers

  • Measuring Jigs

• Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards and production documentation.
