Project Manager – Technology / Transformation

Location: Malaysia
Nationality: Malaysian only
Experience: 6–10 years

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage medium to large-scale technology and transformation projects within an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong project ownership, stakeholder management, planning, execution, and delivery management skills, preferably within banking, financial services, or enterprise technology.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage technology and transformation projects from initiation through successful delivery.
Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and overall project progress.
Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.
Apply SDLC and software delivery methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
Coordinate with vendors and external partners where required.
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Identify and resolve project challenges through effective problem solving and decision-making.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
6–10 years of experience in project management, preferably in banking, financial services, or enterprise technology.
Proven experience managing medium to large-scale technology or transformation projects.
Strong understanding of SDLC and software delivery methodologies.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
Strong planning, coordination, and execution capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Strong experience in risk, issue, and dependency management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tools.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Preferred Certifications

PMP
PRINCE2
Agile / Scrum certification
SAFe certification is an advantage.
