SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant with strong expertise in preventive and corrective maintenance processes, SAP PM configuration, maintenance planning, and asset management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing SAP PM solutions and integrating maintenance processes with other SAP modules.

The role involves supporting SAP PM configuration, maintenance planning, testing, issue resolution, production support, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) functionality based on business and maintenance requirements.

• Manage maintenance orders, maintenance plans, notifications, and work order management processes.

• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

• Configure maintenance planning processes and support asset management operations.

• Integrate SAP PM with SAP Materials Management (MM), Project System (PS), and Finance (FI/CO).

• Participate in SAP implementation projects, including requirements analysis, configuration, testing, and deployment.

• Conduct functional testing, troubleshoot issues, and resolve system defects.

• Provide production support and assist with ongoing SAP PM system maintenance.

• Identify opportunities to optimize maintenance workflows and improve business processes.

• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure effective SAP PM implementation and support.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).

• Experience with SAP PM configuration and maintenance planning.

• Knowledge of maintenance orders, maintenance plans, notifications, and work order management.

• Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance processes.

• Experience in asset management and maintenance operations.

• Experience integrating SAP PM with SAP MM, PS, and FI/CO.

• Experience in testing, issue resolution, production support, and process optimization.

• Experience in 2–3 SAP implementation projects.

• Must be a Malaysian candidate.

• Willingness to work in Kuala Lumpur for a 12-month contract.
