About the Role

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Developer with strong Java and Angular experience to join our engineering team in Malaysia.

The successful candidate will work across both backend and frontend development, building scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and TypeScript. You will collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, Business Analysts, and Architects to deliver reliable and high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and Angular.
Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Build responsive and maintainable user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript.
Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party services.
Develop business logic following established architecture and coding standards.
Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL queries.
Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
Write unit tests and participate in integration and functional testing.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
Collaborate with QA, Business Analysts, Architects, and development teams.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Contribute to technical documentation and development best practices.
Support application deployment and production issue resolution when required.

Required Skills & Experience

Backend:

3–4 years of professional software development experience
Strong hands-on experience with Java
Strong knowledge of Spring Framework / Spring Boot
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
RESTful APIs
Exception handling, logging, and application security
Relational databases and strong SQL skills

Frontend:

Strong hands-on experience with Angular
TypeScript
HTML5 and CSS3
REST API integration
Component-based UI development
Angular forms, routing, services, and state management

Development Practices:

Git / Git-based source control
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Agile / Scrum
Unit and automated testing
Requirements analysis
Debugging and problem-solving

⭐ Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with any of the following is an advantage:

Microservices architecture
Docker and containerisation
CI/CD pipelines
Azure or AWS
Kubernetes
Kafka or RabbitMQ
Automated testing frameworks
Enterprise, banking, financial services, or other regulated applications
Application performance optimisation and security best practices

Education

A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
