Welding Technician (MIG)
Location: Balakong, Selangor, Malaysia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 1–3 Years
Qualification: Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field
Salary: RM 2,000–RM 2,400 gross, including allowance
Transport Allowance: RM 100–RM 125
Attendance Allowance: RM 75
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Welding Technician (MIG) to perform welding activities and ensure quality and safety standards are maintained. The ideal candidate should have hands-on welding experience, preferably in MIG welding, and be able to read technical drawings and welding symbols.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding according to technical specifications and requirements.
Read and understand technical drawings and welding symbols.
Ensure welded components meet required quality and specifications.
Inspect welding work and identify defects or quality issues.
Operate and maintain welding equipment safely.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Support production activities and work effectively with team members.
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements
Minimum 1–3 years of direct welding experience, preferably MIG welding.
Knowledge of technical drawings and welding symbols.
Understanding of welding processes and quality requirements.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
Minimum Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field.
Physically fit to perform required duties.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
Working Hours
Initial Working Hours: 8:30 AM–6:00 PM
Future Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts
8:00 AM–8:00 PM
8:00 PM–8:00 AM
Compensation & Benefits
Gross Salary: RM 2,000–RM 2,400 per month, including allowance.
Transport Allowance: RM 100–RM 125.
Attendance Allowance: RM 75.
