About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Record to Report (R2R) professional to join our finance operations team in Gurgaon. You will handle month-end close, journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, and make sure the books are accurate, compliant and closed on time.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals and provisions
• 
  
• Complete month-end and year-end close within deadlines
• 
  
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve open items
• 
  
• Prepare financial reports and support result analysis
• 
  
• Handle intercompany accounting and fixed assets (where applicable)
• 
  
• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX
• 
  
• Resolve accounting queries with stakeholders
• 
  
• Suggest process improvements
• 
  

Candidate Profile (Must Have)

• 
  
• 3-5 years of experience in R2R / General Ledger / Financial Accounting
• 
  
• Hands-on experience in month-end closing and journal entries
• 
  
• Experience in balance sheet reconciliations
• 
  
• Knowledge of accruals, provisions and financial reporting
• 
  
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• 
  
• Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP)
• 
  

Good to Have

• 
  
• ERP experience: SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics 365
• 
  
• Exposure to SOX controls and audits
• 
  
• Shared services or multinational experience
• 
  
• Knowledge of intercompany accounting and fixed assets
• 
  
• ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent qualification (completed or pursuing)
