Tax Accounting Lead

Location: Hyderabad, India

We are looking for an experienced Tax Accounting Lead to lead Sales & Use Tax operations, tax accounting, and indirect tax compliance for a global organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong leadership skills, deep tax accounting expertise, and hands-on Oracle ERP experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Sales & Use Tax compliance and tax accounting operations.
• Manage tax reporting, tax balances, and general ledger integrity.
• Oversee Oracle ERP tax infrastructure and drive process improvements.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing tax team/
• Manage stakeholder and client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct tax law research and ensure regulatory compliance.​

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of relevant Tax Accounting experience.
• Strong experience in Sales & Use Tax compliance.
• Hands-on Oracle ERP (Cloud/Fusion or EBS).
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Experience managing SLAs and KPIs.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.​

• CPA
• CA
• CMA
• Master's in Taxation (MST)
• CMI Certification​
