Job Description : 

We are looking for an experienced UK Payroll Team Lead / SME to manage end-to-end UK payroll operations, ensure payroll accuracy and compliance, handle complex payroll activities, and provide technical guidance to team members.

Key Responsibilities : 

• Manage end-to-end UK payroll processing.

• Handle PAYE, National Insurance, RTI, statutory payments, and HMRC submissions.

• Manage payroll reconciliations, audits, adjustments, and exceptions.

• Support workplace pensions and automatic enrolment.

• Coordinate team activities, quality checks, and workload allocation.

• Coach payroll associates and provide technical guidance.

• Support year-end activities, including P60 and P11D.

• Drive process improvements and payroll automation.

Required Skills : 

• 5–7 years of UK payroll experience.

• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, PAYE, RTI, and National Insurance.

• Hands-on end-to-end payroll processing and reconciliation.

• Team coordination, quality monitoring, and coaching.

• Workday Payroll or similar payroll systems.

• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
