Role Purpose

The role is responsible for supporting US Mortgage Bankruptcy operations, including bankruptcy setup, documentation, claims and motion preparation, payment history, plan review, notices, referrals, and case closure activities. The position requires strong knowledge of US bankruptcy processes and Chapters 7, 11, and 13, along with the ability to prepare accurate documentation and meet process requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Process US mortgage bankruptcy cases in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

• Handle Proof of Claims (POC) and Motion for Relief (MFR) preparation for attorney review.

• Work on Proof of Claims, Filing of Motion for Relief, PPFN, PCN, NOFC, Referrals to Release, Reaffirmations, Plan Review, SOI Review, and Transfer Notices.

• Prepare and review 410A forms and payment histories.

• Review bankruptcy plans, repayment structures, eligibility, and discharge requirements.

• Support bankruptcy setup, corrections, modifications, closure, and discharge activities.

• Maintain accurate key dates and case information across bankruptcy stages.

• Handle bankruptcy cases under Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13.

• Review and validate documentation for accuracy and completeness.

• Research case information and identify discrepancies requiring correction or escalation.

• Ensure all activities are completed within defined quality and process guidelines.

• Communicate effectively with internal teams and relevant stakeholders.

• Maintain proper documentation and case records.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum 15 years of formal education / basic degree completion.

• 1–7 years overall experience.

• 1–5 years relevant experience in US Mortgage Bankruptcy / specified domain preferred.

• Working knowledge of US bankruptcy processes is required.
