Qualifications:
- With at least 4 years of experience as an L2/L3 Service Desk Engineer
- Experience with the following:
- All forms of Desktop Support for Windows 7/8.1/10 Windows Server 2008 R2/2012 R2/2016
- Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013/2016/ Online, Office 365, Azure, Terminal Services/RDP/Citrix/AVD
- VOIP Systems and Printers
- VMWare / Hyper-V administration and maintenance
- Very good understanding of Windows server & desktop environments, Network, Print & Scan protocols.
- Work experience in a Managed Service Provider company and Certifications (Microsoft/ITIL/networking) will also be highly regarded.
- Nice to Have:
- Exposure or knowledge in SQL, XML, IIS, and C#.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft, ITIL, or networking.
Responsibilities:
- Provide L2/L3 help desk support to customers across Australia.
- Ensure the integrity of the information loaded within Service Desk by carefully reviewing service orders.
- Provide telephony and customer facing support for initial fault diagnosis; liaise with customer throughout to ensure satisfactory resolution of problem.
- Assist in the administration and support of the Local Area Network, including data management and printing facilities, e.g., Active Directory.
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
- Accurately track and route problems and requests and document resolutions.
- Providing accurate and timely advice to clients seeking technical information / recommendations.
