Purpose:
As a social media associate, your role is to manage and execute social media strategies for a company or organization. You will be responsible for creating and curating content, engaging with followers and customers, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing campaigns to grow the company's social media presence.
Responsibilities:
Content creation - Create and curate engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others. This can include writing posts, creating images or graphics, and editing videos.
Social media management - Monitor and manage social media accounts by scheduling and publishing posts, responding to comments and messages, and maintaining a consistent brand voice across platforms.
Community engagement - Interact with followers, fans, and customers by responding to their comments, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Encourage engagement and foster positive relationships with the community.
Social media analytics - Track and analyze key performance metrics such as reach, engagement, click-through rates, and conversions. Use these insights to optimize social media strategies and improve results.
Campaign execution - Plan and execute social media campaigns to support marketing and promotional initiatives. This may involve creating dedicated hashtags, running contests or giveaways, collaborating with influencers, or partnering with other brands.
Trend monitoring - Stay updated on the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices. Identify new opportunities and strategies to enhance the company's social media presence and reach.
Collaboration - Work closely with other departments such as marketing, public relations, and creative teams to ensure social media efforts align with overall brand messaging and campaigns.
Social media advertising - Assist with paid social media advertising campaigns, including creating and managing ad campaigns, monitoring performance, and optimizing for better results.
Reporting - Prepare regular reports on social media performance and present findings to stakeholders. Provide insights and recommendations for improvements based on data analysis.
Stay compliant - Adhere to relevant legal and ethical guidelines, including privacy regulations and advertising standards, when managing social media accounts and executing campaigns.
Qualifications:
- At least a High School Graduate or Senior High Graduate
- 18 yrs old and above
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey brand voice effectively across different social media platforms. Attention to detail, grammar, and spelling is crucial.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer) to schedule posts, monitor conversations, and analyze metrics. Basic understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and how it relates to social media content.
- Knowledge of social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads) and experience in creating and managing paid campaigns. Understanding of targeting options, budgeting, and optimizing ad performance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with the audience, respond to comments and messages, and foster positive relationships with followers. Ability to handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Experience in using analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics) to track and measure social media performance. Ability to analyze data, interpret metrics, and derive insights to optimize social media strategies and campaigns.
- Ability to develop social media strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives. Familiarity with market research, target audience analysis, and competitor analysis to develop effective campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
