JOB TITLE: Apigee Developer

Work Setup: Daily onsite in BGC, Taguig

Work Shift: Shifting Schedule

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Apigee Developer with at least 2 years of professional experience in IT and hands-on expertise in Google Cloud’s Apigee platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing secure and scalable API solutions while supporting cloud and OPDK environments.

Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in Apigee development

• Strong experience with Apigee Edge and API Gateway management

• Proficient in RESTful API design, Node.js, and JavaScript

• Good understanding of API security protocols and access control mechanisms

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Must be willing to work onsite daily in BGC, Taguig

Preferred Qualifications:
• Apigee Certification or Google Cloud API Management specialization

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and service mesh

Eligibility Criteria:
• Applicants must currently reside in the Philippines with valid rights to live and work there

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, maintain, and support Apigee Edge and OPDK services

• Manage API integrations, runtime patches, bug fixes, and feature enhancements

• Monitor and maintain data components including Cassandra, Zookeeper, Consul, and PostgreSQL

• Handle troubleshooting, platform upgrades, product releases, and cloud deployments

• Provide L2 engineering support and resolve customer-related technical issues

• Support Monetization platform operations and auxiliary components like Edge Microgateway and Extensions

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve platform performance, security, and scalability while reducing technical debt
