Position: Design Drafters- (Electrical Design Drafter)

Location: Eastwood, Quezon City

Salary: 55K-70K

Work set up: Work on site

8AM-5PM AU time

Job description:
The key purpose of this role is the production of engineering drawings for use by others

entities, subcontractors, and or clients, and assist with continuous development and

Improvement of Bioenergy technical solutions and related processes and systems.

- Assist the company wherever possible to ensure the overall health and safety

and the welfare of all personnel, contractors or visitors within the entity.

- Ensure all work practices are carried out in as safe a manner as is possible and

complies with all applicable legislation and occupational health and safety, and

Environmental policies and procedures at all times to achieve a zero tolerance of

unsafe practices.

- Actively promote and adhere to all OH& E policies/procedures

Role Accountabilities:
Undertaking the assigned electrical design drafting activities in accordance with the client

procedures and Australian standards associated with biogas, thermal and or process

plant, including:

1. Electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

2. Panel layouts and material lists

3. Termination diagrams

4. Process and instrumentation diagrams

5. General arrangement and layout drawings of electrical systems

6. Site and plant layouts with an electrical focus

7. Documentation for installation, commissioning and operation
8. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including:

9. Installation and commissioning procedures for electrical systems

10. Operation and Maintenance Manuals (electrical sections)

11. QA documentation for electrical components

12. Participate in the preparation of the project design in conjunction with the engineering

manager and or Project Manager, including but not limited to, determination of drafting

deliverables and resource requirements.

13. Assist in the completion of the project on schedule and in accordance with the

project objectives through:

I. Identifying the need for additional resources

II. Monitoring productivity of assigned drafting tasks against the project schedule

III. Identify training needs

IV. Identify shortcomings in drafting infrastructure and or procedures that are

impacting productivity.

V. Take responsibility for the continual improvement of drawing standards, including

but not limited to Accuracy, Structure, and Fitness for purpose

VI. To be a proactive member of the bioenergy projects team

VII. Interface with project engineering resources to ensure required information is

received effectively.

VIII. Check and review electrical engineering drawings

IX. Assist with the continuous improvement of design procedures and standards.

X. Additional drafting responsibilities as required to assist the Project Managers and

or Drafting Manager meets key commitments.

XI. Assist in promoting and increasing the business activities of the company wherever

possible, including Business Development, project delivery, etc.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree (mandatory)

Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience

Industry Focus: Biogas, thermal, or water treatment plants (NOT solar)

Design biogas plants and prepare related manufacturing plans

Electrical design drafting using AutoCAD Electrical

Familiarity with Australian design standards (in-depth knowledge not required, but should understand and apply basic standards)
