Position: Design Drafters- (Mechanical Design Drafter)
Location: Eastwood, Quezon City
Salary: 55K-70K
Work set up: Work on site
8AM-5PM AU time

Job description
The key purpose of this role is production of engineering drawings for use by other
entities, subcontractors, and or clients and assist with continuous development and
improvement of Bioenergy technical solutions and related processes and systems.
Ensure all work practices are carried out in as safe a manner as is possible and
complies with all applicable legislations and occupational health safety and
Environmental policies and procedures at all times to achieve a zero tolerance of unsafe
practices.
Actively promote and adhere to all OH&E policies/procedures
Role Accountabilities:
Undertaking of assigned design drafting activities in accordance with client procedures
and Australian standards associated with biogas, thermal and or process plant
including:
 General arrangement and layout drawings
 Process and instrumentation diagrams
 Flares
 Biogas delivery systems
 General equipment skids
 Ducting and stacks
 Structural frame, access ladders and galleries
 Site and or plant layouts
 Civil foundation drawings
 Pressure piping design and detailing
Take responsibility for assigned drafting tasks
Participate in the preparation of the project design in conjunction with the engineering
manager and or Project Manager including but not limited to, determination of drafting
deliverables and resource requirements.
Assist in the completion of project on schedule and in accordance with the project
objectives through:
- Identifying the need for additional resources
- Monitoring productivity of assigned drafting tasks against the project schedule
- Identify training needs
- Identify shortcomings in drafting infrastructure and or procedures that are
impacting productivity.
Take responsibility for the continual improvement of drawing standards including but not
limited to:
- Accuracy
- Structure
- Fitness for purpose
To be a proactive member of the bioenergy projects team
Interfacing with the projects assigned engineering resources to ensure that required
information to progress drafting activities is received in an effective manner.
Checking engineering drawings.
Assist with the continuous improvement of design procedures and standards.
Additional drafting responsibilities as required to assist the Project Managers and or
Drafting Manager meet key commitments.
Assist to promote and increase the business activities of the company wherever
possible,
including Business Development, project delivery, etc.
Other Accountabilities:
Financial Management:
- Drive financial efficiency for AGL by completing assigned drafting tasks within the
allocated hours
- Assist with preparation of project budgets
Reporting:
- Weekly update reports for assigned projects including, but not limited to:
progress on deliverables against schedule, Man hours including progress against
project budget
- Issues impacting on the project schedule
Production:
- Ensure drafting commitments and deadlines are met
- Provide feedback on specific manufacturing issues that have arisen during the
execution of assigned projects

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree (mandatory)
Experience: At least 3 years relevant experience
Industry Focus: Biogas, thermal, or water treatment plants (NOT solar)
Design biogas plants and prepare related manufacturing plans
Mechanical design drafter: requirement is auto desk inventor proficiency
Familiarity with Australian design standards (in-depth knowledge not required, but should understand and apply basic standards).
