Location - Makati City - Early Dayshift

Role: Java Developer

Years of experience: at least 5-7 years relevant experience

CTC budget: 120K

Summary of Skillset:

Core Java

Unix scripting - Perl and batch orchestration

SQL

JPA

Unit and Integration testing

Monitoring tools - Sumologic/App Dynamic

AWS/GCP

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement high quality software that is thoroughly tested and optimised

• Design software architecture and integration patterns in-line with industry best practice and build software solutions based on business requirements

• Uplifting CI/CD pipelines in line with industry principles

• Provide maintenance and enhancements to the existing code base

• Identify limitations and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our platform design and tool chain

• Support our test team to build automated testing and delivery

• Document and articulate your work in our knowledge base tools

• Engagement with Product Owners and business stakeholders to recommend technology solutions

• Rapid learning and willingness to work with technologies and languages you may or may not be familiar with

• Understanding of security policies and restrictions that apply and creating solutions that comply with these rules

Minimum qualifications

• Core JAVA

• UNIX scripting, Perl and batch orchestration

• SQL and JPA

• Unit and integration testing

Preferred qualifications

• Monitoring tools and alerting tools e.g. Sumologic or AppDynamics

• Cloud technologies, preferably AWS or GCP
