Job Title: Looker Developer Lead
Shift: Day shift
Work set up: Hybrid (3x) in BGC Taguig
Salary range: Up to 150K (Depending on the years of relevant experience)

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the Pharmaceuticals and/or Warehouse
Distribution industry, possess exceptional technical skills in developing reports, dashboards, and
data models, and be proficient in MSSQL, NoSQL, and Postgres. Additionally, experience with Azure or GCP, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a strong aptitude for debugging will be crucial to succeeding in this role.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Lead and manage the migration project from Tableau to Looker, ensuring a seamless transition and optimal utilization of Looker’s capabilities.
● Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into effective visualizations and reports using Looker and Power BI.
● High proficiency in developing and maintaining robust LookML models.
● Have proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining interactive and insightful Looker dashboards and Looks.
● Familiar with Looker administration for managing content, folders and user access controls to ensure data security and governance
● Develop, design, and maintain reports, dashboards, apps, and data models in Looker and Power BI.
● Utilize DAX, DAX Studio, and M language to create complex calculations, measures, and transformations.
● Utilize Power Query for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks.
● Work with various database systems, including MSSQL, NoSQL, Postgres, and SSMS, to extract and analyze data for reporting purposes.
● Experience in using Azure or GCP for data storage, processing, and analysis.
● Perform thorough troubleshooting and debugging of issues related to data extraction, transformation, and visualization.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data-related challenges and optimize data analytics processes.
● Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI, Looker, and related technologies.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
● With at least 5-6 years of professional experience in a data analytics environment
● Experience working in a multinational company
● Good to have a background in the Pharmaceuticals and/or Warehouse Distribution industry
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
● Substantial knowledge and working experience with Looker Power BI, SQL, DAX, Power Query, functional/unit testing as part of technology support BI
● Able to connect to any datasource (incls APIs, RDBMS, Postgres, HANA, Azure Synapse, sharepoint, excel etc)
● Knowledge in the Full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including Requirements, Design, Development, Testing and Deployment is an advantage.
● Experience administering Power BI, Tenant configuration/setup, Embedding analytics
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
● Ability to provide technical and end-user support
● Excellent time management skills are a must
Essential Skillset:
● Power BI: Develop report, dashboards, apps, dataflow creation, data models
● Looker: Proficient in building LookML models, create dashboards and visualizations, administration and governance, embedding and integration into external applications
● LookML, BigQuery
● Writing and optimizing Derived Tables for complex data transformations and performance enhancement
● Using Liquid parameters and templated filters to create dynamic and flexible user experiences
● M language
● Power Query
● MSSQL, NoSQL, Postgres, SSMS
● T-SQL
● Experience in using Azure/GCP
● Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills

● Proven track record of working to strict commercial deadlines
● Be self-sufficient in delivering work and overcoming technical problems and barriers encountered through research
● Ability to communicate with business as well as technical teams
● Strong client management skills
