We are urgently hiring a Mandarin Bilingual Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance & Accounting Shared Services team based in Aura, Taguig.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end Accounts Payable processes for Mandarin operations, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, payment execution, vendor reconciliation, and issue resolution while supporting Japan-based stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review, code, and process high volumes of vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoices.
• Prepare and execute weekly and monthly payment runs through wire transfers, ACH, and checks.
• Assist with month-end closing activities including AP accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and tax regulations.
• Serve as the primary contact for Japan-based vendors regarding payment status and invoice concerns.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, billing issues, and payment errors.
• Collaborate with procurement and receiving teams to resolve outstanding concerns.
• Translate AP-related documents and communications between Mandarin and English as necessary.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), or General Accounting.
• Business-level fluency in Mandarin and English.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak Mandarin fluently.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in Shared Services or BPO environments.
• Knowledge of Japanese Consumption Tax (JCT) and withholding tax regulations.
• JLPT N1 or N2 certification preferred; strong N3 candidates are welcome to apply
