Are you looking for a job? We are hiring for Outpatient Medical Coders. Please see the details below:

JOB TITLE: Outpatient Medical Coders

Required Experience: 6 to 12 months in outpatient coding

Work Shift: Night shift, 9 AM to 6 PM(IS Time)

Education: Any life science background

Certification: Non-certified preferable

Salary: 35K to 50K basic

Number of Vacancies: 7

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review claims for errors and rejections and correct them as needed.

Ensure excellence in National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) Edits, Global Edits, and Correct Coding or ICD-10-CM Edits.

Code ICD-10/CPT/HCPCS codes to ensure revenue codes are appropriate.

Handle custom edits covering additional requirements including payer, specialty, provider, or location-specific edits.

Manage edits that are sourced and explained at the level of code-to-code relationships, based on American Medical Association CPT guidelines, CMS guidelines, Correct Coding Initiatives, commercial and Medicare code sets, medical societies, and other widely accepted third-party sources.

Review medical records and obtain necessary information to support valid code series.

Any graduate with good domain knowledge

Minimum 1-year experience in the respective specialty

Certification is not mandatory, but an added advantage if certified

COMPLIANCE:

Awareness and implementation of ISO, ISMS, and GRIC policies

Adherence to the rules and regulations as outlined by the management
