Work Set-up: Hybrid (3x reporting on site per week)

Salary range: 95,000 - 100,000

About the Role:

The purpose of this document is to define scope of work requirements for a Senior Business Analyst (BA) to support the Sovereign Operations Modernization Project (SovOps) within Asian Development Bank (ADB). To effectively contribute to the project, the Senior BA will play a key role in getting an in-depth understanding of business processes, requirements and applications, manage stakeholders, and conduct quality assurance tasks in the context of the implementation of SovOps.

Scope of Work/Responsibilities

1. perform deep dive learning of existing processes, captured requirements, design specifications and applications in relation to ADB’s sovereign operations.

2. engage in requirements elaboration, solution design and review, quality assurance and issue resolution.

3. develop additional necessary requirements for the project including wireframe and prototyping for UX|UI, data specifications, business rules, workflow, integration as well as definition of role-based access.

4. assist in the preparation and review of test cases, test scenarios and test scripts against defined requirements.

5. conduct product demo and usability testing amongst Product Owners and relevant stakeholders.

6. collaboratively work with testing team and assist users with User Acceptance Testing.

7. participate in monitoring, managing and addressing bug fixes/issues and their resolution.

The Senior BA will work with SovOps’ existing project team including stakeholders from business, and technical subject matter experts, including integration when needed, within the ecosystem of ADB.

Requirement and Qualification (Education & Work Experience)

• ADB requires the Senior BA in SovOps to have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Accounting, or a related field

• At least 8 years of strong business analysis experience, including 3 years in a senior role involving end-to-end IT solution implementation and integration with downstream systems

• 5 years of experience in banking, accounting, or the financial services sector

• 5 years of exposure to solution design and documenting business processes

• 5 years of experience in IT application testing and quality assurance

• Understanding of ADB’s business process (an advantage)

• Knowledge of project and systems development lifecycles

• Experience with Agile and Waterfall solution delivery

• Skilled with Microsoft tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI ar per company

Reporting and Coordination

• For the provision of staff augmentation services, the Agency Personnel will take instructions from the Manager at the Information

Technology Department at ADB and work closely with the project team, internal and external stakeholders.

• The Agency Personnel will provide any other services as required by the team and ADB ITD supervisor or user unit.

Work Arrangement

INTERNAL. This information is accessible to ADB Management and Staff. It may be shared outside ADB with appropriate permission.

• Hybrid, requiring contractors to report onsite at least three times a week, depending on the demand of project and business engagement. If the user unit requires contractors to report to HQ for more than 3 days, compliance is mandatory.

• Work Schedule is from 8:00AM – 5:00PM Manila Time.
