Senior GCP Cloud Architect – SAP (AMS Engagement)

Project: Zuellig Pharma
Location: Paranaque (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Experience: 10–15 years
Start Date: ASAP

Role Overview

Lead and govern SAP environments hosted on GCP within an AMS environment.
Drive system stability, performance optimization, automation, security, and cost efficiency.
Serve as the primary architecture contact for SAP AMS operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee SAP architecture governance and ensure SLA/KPI compliance.
Provide L3/L4 support, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and operational improvements.
Manage SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, and BTP environments, including upgrades, refreshes, and maintenance.
Administer and optimize GCP infrastructure, networking, storage, backups, monitoring, and cost management.
Drive SAP HANA performance tuning, HA/DR readiness, backup, and business continuity planning.
Lead ITIL-based incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
Implement automation using Terraform and scripting to improve operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with security, access management, encryption, and audit requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors while conducting regular service reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

10–15 years of IT experience with 5+ years in GCP cloud architecture.
Strong SAP BASIS, SAP Architecture, SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, and SAP HANA expertise.
Experience with GCP services including Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, storage, backup, monitoring, and logging.
Knowledge of HA/DR, ITIL processes, ServiceNow/Remedy, and AMS support models.
Hands-on experience with Terraform, Python, or Shell scripting.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Google Professional Cloud Architect, SAP BASIS/HANA, or ITIL certifications.
Experience with RISE with SAP on GCP, FinOps, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

Additional Requirements

Stable employment history (no frequent job hopping).
Must possess TOR and Diploma.
