Senior Systems Analyst – Role Summary

The Senior Systems Analyst partners with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define system requirements, translating them into clear functional specifications. The role involves leading workshops, eliciting requirements, and creating user stories, epics, and backlog items while ensuring alignment with business priorities. Working closely with technical teams, the analyst evaluates solutions, shapes system design, and supports integration with platforms like Oracle ERP and cloud-based applications.

The position requires strong expertise in financial systems, especially Procure-to-Pay processes, with the ability to assess impacts on downstream systems and reporting. Responsibilities include supporting Agile delivery, preparing test cases, coordinating UAT, and ensuring solutions meet business needs. The analyst also contributes to training, documentation, and post-go-live support, including troubleshooting and continuous improvement of systems and processes.

Candidates should have a degree in a related field, at least five years of experience in systems analysis and ERP financial applications, and strong SQL skills. Experience with Oracle ERP, integrations, reporting tools, and Agile methodologies is essential. Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills are critical for success in this role.
