USRN Trainer (Assistant Manager Level) | Healthcare

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated USRN Trainer to deliver and manage clinical training programs for nursing professionals supporting U.S. healthcare accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for training delivery, curriculum development, trainee evaluation, and ensuring all learning programs align with client requirements, organizational standards, and U.S. healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery
Facilitate New Hire Training (NHT) programs for USRN roles across various clinical accounts including Utilization Management, Case Management, Clinical Appeals, Triage, and Claims Review.
Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and hybrid training sessions using adult learning methodologies.
Ensure trainees meet competency, quality, and compliance standards prior to deployment.
Curriculum Development
Develop, review, and update training materials, assessments, simulations, and reference guides.
Ensure training content remains aligned with client requirements, HIPAA regulations, and U.S. healthcare standards.
Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Client teams to maintain training effectiveness.
Trainee Evaluation & Coaching
Conduct assessments, evaluations, and certification activities.
Provide coaching, feedback, and developmental support to trainees.
Support transition-to-production activities including nesting, shadowing, and side-by-side coaching.
Compliance & Reporting
Maintain accurate and timely training records, attendance, evaluations, and reports.
Ensure adherence to confidentiality, compliance protocols, and internal documentation standards.
Prepare and submit training performance reports to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
Identify learning gaps and conduct refresher and upskilling sessions.
Participate in audits, calibration sessions, and process improvement initiatives.
Contribute to enhancing instructional quality, training efficiency, and clinical accuracy.
Qualifications
Active and unrestricted USRN license is required.
Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical bedside experience (ER, ICU, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or similar).
At least 1 year of experience as a USRN Trainer in a BPO or U.S. Healthcare account.
Strong knowledge of MCG/Milliman, InterQual, HIPAA, clinical guidelines, and U.S. medical terminology.
Experience in training, facilitation, or clinical education.
Familiarity with adult learning principles and curriculum development.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in Instructional Design or Learning & Development is an advantage.
