Essential Skills and Experience

7+ Years overall experience of which 5+ years as Business Analysts.

A self-starter who is proactive and self-motivated, someone who takes responsibility and pride in their work and is focused on delivering on time and quality.

Not fazed by ambiguity, technical terminology, or business areas/terminology not familiar with.

Has a comprehensive BA Toolkit with skills and techniques that can be applied appropriately in different situations.

Well-versed in both Agile and Waterfall delivery lifecycles, preferably having experience working in both, with the flexibility to move between the two.

Key Responsibilities

Defining the business analysis approach, planning, and estimating business analysis work, for the activities you are assigned to. Communicate these to the appropriate stakeholders and keep the Project Manager updated on progress.

Building effective relationships with business and technical stakeholders to provide a business analysis service to programs, projects, and change initiatives. In addition, form longer-term trusted partner relationships with the stakeholders you engage with.

Act as the connection between the business and the IT and Change teams, translating complex technical language into simple and meaningful messages that can be understood by all.

Identifying stakeholder's needs through thorough investigation and elicitation ensuring they align to the strategic needs of the business area and organization. Challenge scope and spot scope creep that do not adhere to strategic needs or deliver business value.
