Data Modeling Engineer (Techniques & Methodologies)

Location: Onsite – Cebu City

Work Schedule: Shifting

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary Range: ₱80,000 – ₱140,000

(Salary details are confidential and will depend on skills, experience, and project assignment)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeling Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions that support data generation, ingestion, transformation, and analytics. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in complex data environments and enjoy working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust data models.

Experience Requirements

7+ years overall IT experience

3+ years hands-on experience in Data Modeling

Must-Have Technical Skills

Strong experience in Dimensional Modeling, 3NF Modeling, and/or NoSQL Data Modeling

Experience designing databases on at least one Cloud platform

Solid understanding of Modern Data Platforms

Hands-on experience with data transformation, analytics projects, and Data Warehousing (DWH)

Proven ability to drive database design across all stages of data modeling

Experience using Data Modeling tools such as Erwin, ER Studio, or equivalent

Good-to-Have Skills

Exposure to any of the following:

Data Vault Modeling

Graph Database Modeling

RDF, Ontology, or Semantic Data Modeling

Document Database Modeling

Knowledge of Cloud Data Engineering and Cloud Data Integration

Understanding of Data Lake architecture

Strong grasp of Data Architecture principles

Professional Skills

Excellent requirements analysis and technical solution design skills

Strong written, verbal, and presentation abilities

Confident client-facing and interpersonal skills

Proactive mindset with a strong desire for continuous learning

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E./B.Tech) – required

Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience

Responsibilities

Collaborate with client teams to understand business requirements

Lead discovery sessions and design workshops

Develop, document, and present Data Models for approval

Create solution blueprints, scope projects, and provide delivery estimates

Eligibility

Applicants must currently be based in the Philippines with the legal right to work

Must have no active or previous employment or ongoing application with restricted organizations (details to be discussed during screening)
