Job Title: Japanese Tech Bilingual – Java EE (Manila)
Work Setup: Hybrid (Taguig)
Work Shift: Shifting schedule (dependent on client and project requirements)

We are looking for a Japanese-speaking IT professional with strong technical expertise in Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE) to join a dynamic delivery team. The role involves close collaboration with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and development teams to deliver high-quality web and application solutions.

Qualifications
Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N5 to N1)
Strong experience in Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE) is required
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Undergraduates with strong Japanese language proficiency are welcome to apply
Preferably JLPT N1 or N2
Candidates with JLPT N5/N4/N3 must have strong IT skills and hands-on experience
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferably at least 3 years of experience in Web/Application Development
Experience in any of the following technologies is an advantage:
Java EE, Spring Boot, ASP.NET MVC/Core, Angular, JavaScript, React.js, Node.js
Web API, Entity Framework, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap
MS SQL Server, WebSphere MQ, Serverless Platforms
Agile frameworks, SOA, SAP ABAP, Testing, Solution Architecture, IT Project Management
Proficient in Agile-based, team-oriented delivery environments
Willing to work on holidays, weekends, shifting schedules, and extended hours if required
Willing to work and relocate in Taguig
Must not be a current or former employee of the same organization
Should demonstrate employment stability (not frequent short-term engagements)
Willing to work in the Philippines
Job Responsibilities
Communicate with client-side functional design stakeholders in Japanese
Discuss requirements, functional designs, development status, and issues in Japanese
Understand and follow existing development/runtime architecture and standards
Conduct knowledge transfer of business requirements and functional designs written in Japanese
Review deliverables to ensure compliance with requirements and functional design
Validate quality during acceptance and review processes
Review and ensure quality of translated documents
Support improvements to auto-translation processes and documentation consistency
Develop and implement web application solutions for transactional and automation use cases
Work with various hosting environments (on-premises and cloud-based platforms)
