ServiceNow Developer/Engineer – Role Summary
The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and managing platform solutions that support enterprise initiatives such as Empower@ADB. This role focuses on building scalable ServiceNow applications, integrating with existing systems and third-party platforms, and ensuring high system performance and reliability. The developer also identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves technical issues, escalating when necessary.
Key responsibilities include designing and customizing ServiceNow modules, developing workflows, scripts, forms, and business rules, and enhancing overall user experience. The role involves collaborating with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions. The developer participates in Agile processes, including sprint planning and release cycles, while ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and platform governance.
The position also requires performing root cause analysis, supporting production releases, and maintaining detailed technical documentation such as solution designs and deployment plans. Additionally, the developer ensures compliance with security, data protection, and ITIL standards while driving continuous process improvement and automation initiatives.
Candidates should have at least five years of ServiceNow experience, strong expertise in AppEngine and integrations, solid Agile knowledge, and excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentorship skills to support team growth and innovation.
