Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Location: BGC, Taguig, Philippines (Hybrid – 3x onsite weekly)
Work Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Experience Required: 10+ Years
Start Date: Immediate joiners or within 2 weeks preferred

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality enterprise applications within an agile environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in software architecture, technical leadership, and mentoring while contributing to scalable and secure banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java technologies
Design scalable microservices and REST APIs
Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional and agile teams
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Develop containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
Mentor junior developers and lead by example
Ensure code quality through testing and best engineering practices
Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and deployment activities

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
10–14 years of hands-on experience in Java development
Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, ReactJS, and SQL/PLSQL
Experience with OpenShift, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes
Hands-on experience with REST APIs and Microservices architecture
Familiarity with DevOps tools, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket
Experience with TDD/BDD and testing frameworks such as JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber, or JEST
Experience working within Agile environments
Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
Stable employment history preferred (non-job hopper)
