Job title: Content Moderator
Location: REMOTE
Work shift: Local day time according to supporting country (Cambodia) & 8 working hour + 1 hour lunch break per day
Working Days: 5 days a week
Salary: RM 5000
Headcount: 2
Target start date: 26th December 2024
Language required: Khmer and B2 English
Nationality: Cambodian
Visa Status: regardless of visa status as long as meeting Malaysian EP requirements
Those outside of Malaysia that are accepted are located in Cambodia or Thailand. They will be working from home.
Job Description:
- Review and moderate user-generated content, including text, images, videos, and comments, ensuring they comply with platform rules and regulations.
- Identify and remove content that is offensive, harmful, or violates community guidelines (e.g., hate speech, violence, adult content).
- Flag or escalate content that requires further investigation or legal action.
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve content moderation processes and guidelines.
- Provide clear and concise feedback to users when content is flagged or removed, if applicable.
- Monitor trends in content and user behavior to ensure the platform remains a safe and welcoming environment.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment while handling sensitive materials.
Requirments:
- Has strong verbal, written & comprehension skills in Khmer & English.
- Has content moderation experience (a plus but not required, fresh graduates are accepted).
- Is willing to work on day shift business hours (depends on Cambodia time).
- Meets the typing requirement (35WPM).
- This is a work-onsite position, hired employee will work in office located at Damansara Utama.
