Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst
Job Summary
The Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst will be responsible for leading and overseeing regulatory reporting activities within a controlled and regulated financial services environment. The role focuses on ensuring the completeness, accuracy, governance, and timely delivery of regulatory reporting across Capital, Liquidity, IFRS 9, Credit Risk, and related reporting processes. The analyst will review and challenge regulatory reporting outputs, perform reconciliations and analytical reviews, manage reporting controls and adjustments, investigate reporting issues, and ensure compliance with PRA and other applicable regulatory requirements. The role also involves supporting regulatory submissions, process improvements, automation initiatives, governance activities, and providing technical guidance and oversight to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Review and challenge regulatory reporting outputs for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
Manage daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly regulatory reporting activities.
Prepare and review reconciliations, controls, adjustments, and analytical reporting outputs.
Prepare and manage manual adjustments with appropriate approvals and audit trails.
Prepare management packs, variance analysis, and reporting commentary.
Review data quality, reporting assumptions, and methodologies.
Investigate and resolve reporting anomalies, reconciliation differences, and control breaks.
Manage governance and sign-off processes.
Ensure compliance with PRA expectations, regulatory reporting standards, and submission timelines.
Support regulatory queries, internal audits, control reviews, and ad hoc information requests.
Assess the impact of regulatory, process, and system changes on reporting.
Identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
Strengthen reporting controls and operational processes.
Provide task allocation, technical guidance, training, and review support to junior colleagues.
Capital Reporting
Review COREP returns, including Own Funds, RWA, and capital ratios.
Review capital reconciliations and consolidation adjustments.
Review regulatory capital calculations.
Provide oversight of ICAAP and Economic Capital reporting.
Ensure capital reporting complies with regulatory and internal governance requirements.
Liquidity Reporting
Support production, review, and submission of liquidity regulatory returns.
Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly liquidity reporting cycles.
Collect data from Treasury, Risk, Finance, and source systems.
Support preparation of PRA110, LCR, NSFR, and ALM reporting.
Apply regulatory adjustments, assumptions, and liquidity metric calculations.
Ensure completeness, accuracy, and traceability of liquidity reporting outputs.
Regulatory & IFRS 9 Reporting
Support Bank of England and PRA regulatory submissions.
Support end-to-end IFRS 9 model execution and monitoring.
Support Finance and Risk reporting.
Perform data aggregation, validation, and reconciliation.
Support Credit Risk and Market Risk reporting activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
5–15 years of relevant experience.
Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3).
Qualified accountant such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent relevant experience.
FRM, CFA, or MBA Finance is preferred.
Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, or another quantitative subject is beneficial.
Experience in regulatory reporting within financial services is preferred.

Liquidity Ratios – LCR and NSFR.
Capital Adequacy Analysis.

Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and governance.
Preferred Skills
CCAR / Capital Planning / Stress Testing.
Scenario Modelling and What-If Analysis.
Power BI / Tableau.
SQL / Python for data extraction and modelling.
IFRS 9.
PRA / Bank of England regulatory reporting.
COREP, ICAAP, PRA110, LCR, NSFR and ALM.
