Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Capital Projects Management Associate Manager to oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and performance monitoring across power generation, transmission, and distribution projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project controls, financial analysis, risk management, and regulatory compliance, with hands-on experience using Primavera P6, MS Project, and Advanced Excel.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage project planning, scheduling, risk assessment, and cost control activities.

- Prepare and monitor CAPEX/OPEX budgets, cost estimates, forecasts, and variance reports.

- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.

- Conduct critical path analysis and monitor project milestones.

- Track project performance using KPIs, Earned Value Analysis (EVA), and progress reports.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend optimization strategies.

- Coordinate with procurement teams and stakeholders on bid evaluations and cost benchmarking.

- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and project governance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10–14 years of relevant experience in Power Utilities, EPC, Power Generation, or Transmission & Distribution projects.

- Strong knowledge of project planning, cost estimation, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.

- Hands-on proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Advanced Excel.

- Understanding of CEA, CERC, and State Utility regulatory frameworks.

- Excellent analytical, reporting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Educational Requirements

- Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering.

- Certifications in Project Management, Risk Management, or Cost Control will be an added advantage.
