Skill: Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Reporting To: Customer Lead

Experience Range:  9-12 Yrs

Location: Kolkata

Profiles required: 5

Grade:     BPO 5/6

Shift: New Zealand shift

Salary Range: 16 - 20 LPA



MS Office competency: Good

Qualifications: B. Com/CA/ CMA/CPA/M. Com / MBA Finance



Role Purpose:

•    The purpose of the role is to oversee and manage all the aspects of fundamental financial planning and analysis and prepare the reports on financial performance tailored to the needs of leadership.

•    The purpose of the role is also to analyze data and understands the financial data of the organization in order to perform variance analysis and identify key causes of business variances for performance measurement. 

Key Accountabilities:

•    Prepare and gather data to support development of financial assessments and scenario analysis.

•    Insert rate case filing inputs.

•    Create Budget-to-Actual for Balance sheet.

•    Create Budget-to-Actual for Profit and loss.

•    Collect data and upload data into Hyperion.

•    Variance Analysis

•    Presenting overall performance report for senior management review

•    Identifying business impact ideas and implementation of the same

•    Working closely with senior management in business growth 



Technical Capabilities/ Skills:

Mandatory Skillsets:

•    Prepare MIS reports and dash boards.

•    Spearhead periodical reviews and calls with stakeholders (Internal & external)

•    Effective management of SLAs & KPIs

•    Good exposure into escalation management and having prior experience into performance management.

•    Exposure to IFRS

•    Ability to handle audits (Internal & external)

•    Identifying the process gaps and provide solutions.

•    Exposure in managing customer floor walks.

•    Exposure to Financial Analysis

Additional Desirable skills

•    Certifications like Six sigma green belt / Train the Trainer will be an added advantage.

•    KT / Transition experience will be an added advantage.

•    Managing cross functional training within the team.

•    Generating leads which might be for potential business development.



Systems: 

•    Develop a moderate level of proficiency in the following systems:

1.    MS Office suite.

2.     Knowledge of Excel macro and MS access database creation

•    Good exposure in tools (ORACLE, FI, Peoplesoft, Essbase, Hyperion, etc)

VNA & Language:

•    Strong communication skills (oral & written)

•    Have fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

•    Can interact with customers in a professional, courteous manner. 

Soft skills:

•    Shows genuine empathy to customers experiencing connection difficulties.

•    Ability to handle difficult customer conversations and work under pressure.

•    Actively identifies customer cues and responds appropriately.

•    Able to communicate effectively across a group with diverse backgrounds.

•    High energy, self-motivation with a high degree of accountability

•    Team leadership and client facing skills.

•    Strategic orientation

•    Collaboration & influencing 

Analytical skills:

•    Strong analytical skills

•    Observant to system issues /new situations / etc

Organizational skills

•    Time management

•    Takes ownership of work allocated.

•    Works well under pressure to meet SLAs and deadlines.

•    High level written communication skills to interact with key stakeholders

Business acumen:

•    15+ years of experience in to finance & accounts with a minimum of 11+ years into FP&A

•    Expert level domain expertise of FP&A

•    Business case decision support

•    Budget to actual variance Analysis

Other Requirements: 

•    Candidate should be ready to work in NEW ZEALAND shift.

•    Should possess positive attitude to support the business.

•    Should be flexible for working hours.

•    Advance excel knowledge is preferable.

•    5 days’ work from office is mandatory
